Flickr4Writer: insert Flickr images from within WLW

Flickr4writer Plugin for Windows Live WriterOne of the first things missed in Windows Live Writer was some kind of connection with Flickr. Tim Heuer felt the same thing and he developed what is now thought of as the first plugin for Windows Live Writer: Flickr4Writer.

Flickr4Writer adds an Insert Flickr Image… to the Insert menu in the sidebar and to the insert dropdown menu.

It’s very easy to use. Just search on tags or user name. Click an image to select it. Select the size of the image you want to insert (thumbnail and Windows Live Writer’s standards Small, Medium, Large). The link to the Flickr image can automatically be included.

Better yet, at the time of insertion a css class can be assigned to the image.

A very handy plugin which in and by itself puts Windows Live Writer truly on the market.
