Insert Snipped Image: Windows Live Writer Snipping Plugin Tool

8c172bbeb7ae4d9490e06782321ef4cesnipWindows Vista comes with a very handy snipping tool (show me) with which you can easily take screenshots of any area of your screen.

The Windows Live Writer Snipping Plugin Tool is the other end of the equation that allows for easy insertion of that snipped image into your Windows Live Writer post.

2Clicking the Insert Snipped Image button will launch the snipping tool, wait until you captured a screenshot and then paste that image into Windows Live Writer.

Note: if you don’t have Windows Vista, or if you would like to have your images uploaded elsewhere than your own blog space, take a look at the Windows Live Writer powertoy LiveWriter OnScreen. This powertoy comes with a Snip Screen tool. Better yet, the snipped image can be uploaded to Flickr from within the powertoy.
