Live Writer Flickr Plugin: Simple Flickr Insert

Rob Miles has released a, as he stresses himself, simpleLive Writer Flickr Plugin Flickr plugin for Windows Live Writer. Unlike the famous Flickr4Writer plugin it doesn’t provide tag-based search or selectable sets: you can only enter a user name.

The images from that user are shown one by one in a small window. Especially if you only need to insert your last image it makes things a tiny bit faster than Flickr4Writer which preloads a few thumbnails.

Once you have found an image you click the insert button. It inserts a rather large uncommon size. Width or height, depending on the photo, is 400px.

This is a manual install plugin. Simply copy and paste the files into your Plugins directory in the Windows Live Writer installation directory and (re)start WLW.
