A plugin that does exactly what it says on the box: insert the current date and time.
The plugin needs to be installed manually (how to manually install a Windows Live Writer plugin?).
As far as I can see the plugin formats both the date and time according to your system settings. There is no option to set a custom format.

Blogus is a Russian social tagging site. Works a little bit like Technorati.
Now adding Blogus tags has become easy with the Insert Blogus Tags plugin for Windows Live Writer.
Extract the file and install the plugin manually (how to install Windows Live Writer plugins manually?).
When you click the Insert Blogus Tag that appears in the Insert menu dropdown (and/or sidebar), enter your comma-separated Blogus tags in the window that pops up.
OK it and split seconds later your Blogus tags are in place.
Of course Blogus users can also go with Multiple Tag which through its use of templates can be extended to tag for any tagging service.

Windows Vista comes with a very handy snipping tool (show me) with which you can easily take screenshots of any area of your screen.
The Windows Live Writer Snipping Plugin Tool is the other end of the equation that allows for easy insertion of that snipped image into your Windows Live Writer post.
Clicking the Insert Snipped Image button will launch the snipping tool, wait until you captured a screenshot and then paste that image into Windows Live Writer.
Note: if you don’t have Windows Vista, or if you would like to have your images uploaded elsewhere than your own blog space, take a look at the Windows Live Writer powertoy LiveWriter OnScreen. This powertoy comes with a Snip Screen tool. Better yet, the snipped image can be uploaded to Flickr from within the powertoy.

Although Windows Live Writer can work with Community Server out of the box (How to configure Windows Live Writer for Community Server?), direct uploading of
images used in your post to the Community Server Galleries isn’t possible.
At least not out of the box.
Thanks to a new plugin for Windows Live Writer it is possible however.
After you download the file and extract it, the plugin needs to be manually installed
(How to manually install a Windows Live Writer plugin?).
Once installed you only need to configure the plugin with your Community Server details.
With that in place you’re now ready to start posting as well as uploading images to your Community Server galleries.
Using the plugin you can browse the albums in your gallery. The programmer even added an "All Albums" option.

RJ Dudley’s has a very thorough walkthrough on how to configure Windows Live Writer to be used with Community Server.
The complete walkthrough is 17 steps long, includes 13 screenshots for clarity, and covers everything from downloading Windows Live Writer to configuring it for Community Server, and from starting a new post to editing and formatting.
If you’re just interested in configuring WIndows Live Writer for Community Server you just need to follow steps 3 to 11.
Note: step #13, where the author explains that Windows Live Writer doesn’t support direct uploading of images into the Community Server galleries is, with the arrival of a new plugin, no longer valid.
